The Chicano/Latino Staff Association promotes the principles of equal

UCSD Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar Chapter
The UCSD HSF Scholar Chapter is designed to promote academic excellence and
build leadership skills by providing UCSD undergraduate and graduate students
with a personal and technological network of support. The UCSD HSF Scholar
Chapter matches members with HSF alumni-mentors through HSF’s Alumni Mentoring
program. This program is designed to help HSF scholars and Hispanic students
transition from college to professional life, underscoring the program’s mission
to continue to support students in achieving their career and leadership goals

Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA)
M.E.Ch.A. is a Raza student advocacy organization. The primary goal of
M.E.Ch.A. is to incorporate the social, political and cultural aspects of our
respective communities with those of the University. MEChA has been at UCSD for
more than 30 years and members help plan events, mentor other Chicanos/Latinos,
work with the community in San Diego and address social, cultural and political
issues relevant to the Chicano/Latino student community at UCSD.
Raza Graduate Student Association de University of California, San Diego
The Raza Graduate Student Association de UCSD was founded in May 2003 by a
group of first-year UCSD Chicana/o and Latina/o graduate students who saw the
need for an organization geared toward the particular needs of Chicana/o and
Latina/o graduate students. The mission of the RGSA is to welcome Chicana/o and
Latina/o graduate students to the UCSD and greater San Diego communities; build
a safe space for all graduate students of color; and assist in the transition to

UCSD Chicano/Latino Concilio
