Cross Cultural Center (CCC)
The Cross Cultural Center is dedicated to supporting the needs of UCSD’s diverse student, staff and faculty communities. The CCC mission is to create a learning environment in which the entire campus community feels welcome. Within this general charge and in collaboration with existing campus programs, one of the Center’s major priorities is to facilitate the academic, professional and personal development of those student, staff, and faculty who are members of underrepresented groups. The CCC is located between the Literature Building and Visual Arts Building. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm. Graduate Students Association/Graduate Diversity Advisory Group
The Graduate Students Association provides a range of social and cultural events, financing for departmental events and interdisciplinary academic activities. The GSA also appoints graduate students to university committees and represents graduate student interests to the Office of Graduate Studies.

Latino/Chicano Forum
An informal gathering, provided by Psychological and Counseling Services, which includes open discussion and exchange of ideas, questions and concerns on any topic relevant to the lives and experiences Latino/Chicano students. Family, parents, economics, friends, relationships, culture and academics are themes explored toward the goal of graduation from UCSD. Meetings are held Wednesdays, 12:00pm – 1:30pm at the Half Dome Lounge in Muir College. Call (858) 534-5989 for more information.
Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) Resource Center
The LGBT Resource Center at UCSD is a diverse, open and public space for all members of the university community to explore issues relating to sexual and gender identities, practices and politics. The office challenges existing definitions of variant genders and sexualities by engaging in community building on and off campus. The LBGT Resource Center is located
between Mandeville Cetner and the Original Student Center on the top floor. Hours are Monday through

Office of Sexual Harassment Prevention and Policy
The Office of Sexual Harassment Prevention and Policy (OSHPP) provides assistance in investigating and resolving complaints of sexual harassment and provides education to the entire campus community. Emphasis is on prevention and early resolution. OSHPP provides programs and training sessions designed specifically for faculty, staff and students. A member of the OSHPP staff is available free of charge to come to your next meeting or provide a program at your convenience. The office is located at 201 University Center. Psychological and Counseling Services (P&CS)
Psychological and Counseling Services (P&CS) provides confidential individual, couples, groups and family psychotherapy to registered undergraduate, graduate and medical students at UCSD. Individual counseling provides a forum for one-on-one interaction which allows a student and a counselor to focus on particular concerns. P&CS offers structured workshops on areas such as building social skills or managing stress. Counseling at P&CS is free and paid through registration fees. Student Affirmative Action Committee (SAAC)
The primary purpose of an organization affiliated with the Student Affirmative Action Committee is to facilitate the maintenance and/or education relating to customary beliefs, social forms and traits of racial, ethnic, religious or social group. SAAC organizations must be focused on underrepresented populations at UCSD. These organizations include: African American Student Union, Asian and Pacific Islander Student Alliance, Disabled Student Union, Kaibigan Pilipino, Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan
and the Native American Student Alliance.
Student Health Services
The purpose of the Student Health Services (SHS) is to promote and preserve the health and well-being of all students so that they may pursue their academic goals. SHS provides primary medical care, including urgent care and support services such as laboratory, pharmacy, and x-ray. Health promotion and disease prevention programs encourage students to develop long term healthy behaviors. The SHS is located in University Center, along Library Walk, west of the Price Center. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm; Wednesday 9:00am – 4:30pm and closed on weekends and holidays. Student Legal Services (SLS)
Student Legal Services provides the highest quality of legal services, including individual legal counseling, preventative education and program support for student organizations, which enables students to develop skills and knowledge that will empower them to avert or resolve personal legal challenges. Student Office of Human Relations (SOHR)
The Student Office of Human Relations (SOHR) is a Hate, Bias Prevention Program that promotes UCSD’s Principles of Community. The office promotes understanding and acceptance of diversity in the UC/UCSD community through a broad educational program for UCSD students, staff and faculty. It also serves as the campus contact for any student related hate/bias crimes or incident, and complaints of unlawful discrimination involving UCSD students. Student Organizations and Leadership Opportunities (SOLO)
The office of Student Organizations & Leadership Opportunities (SOLO) provides information about services, student organizations and numerous leadership opportunities for UCSD students. With leadership seminars and over 350 student organizations on campus, SOLO is committed to providing students with co-curricular activities that will make their college experience rewarding and academically enriching from within as well as outside the classroom. Student Safety Awareness and Sexual Assult Resource Center (SSAP)
The UCSD Student Safety Awareness Program (SSAP) offers workshops and educational materials to the students of UCSD. Individuals who have been victims of sexual assault can seek confidential assistance to identify available options and appropriate support services. SSAP is also involved in campus personal safety issues. The SSAP Office is located

UCSD Diversity Council
The Council advises the Chancellor on diversity with particular reference to institutional access and representation, campus climate and intergroup relations, education and scholarship and institutional transformation. The Council believes the University environment is greatly enriched by the presence of people with diverse backgrounds and cultural perspectives. In fostering such an environment, members seek to encourage respect and understanding of all cultural traditions; promote greater diversity among faculty, staff, and students; support campus diversity-related initiatives and communicate their results to the campus and the surrounding community. Women’s Center
The Women's Center at UCSD provides education and support on gender issues affecting UCSD students, faculty, staff, and the community.
